Dog Gone Adoption Event-   Join us for our rodeo themed adoption event on Saturday, April 20th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in partnership with Murfreesboro.com in hopes to bring joy to the community, along with several shelter pets in need of homes. 

You won't want to miss food vendors Slick Pig BBQ & The Fresh Squeeze! PAWS will also have FREE popcorn, face painting, games, photo booth, giveaways and more. 

PAWS will be drawing for “best dressed” to those who enter the costume contest at 12:00 p.m. for a chance to win a prize. To enter, you must be present at the PAWS table at 12:00 p.m. for staff members to begin judging. The winner will be hand-picked from a jar of the top 5 best dressed, picked by PAWS staff.

PAWS is located at 285 John R. Rice Boulevard in Murfreesboro, TN.

Front Desk, Adoptions, Reclaims & Animal Viewing 

Monday-Friday, 12-1:30 p.m., 2-6 p.m. *Closed 1:30-2 p.m. for staff lunches & pet rest period.*

Saturday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. 

Sunday, APPOINTMENT ONLY.  

PAWS will be CLOSED Friday, March 29th in observance of Good Friday.

Rabies Vaccination & Microchip Services 

(By Walk-ins Only)
Tuesday-Thursday 12-1:30 p.m. & 2-4 p.m. & Friday 12-1:30 p.m.

We do not offer vaccines or microchips on weekends. 

Due to unforeseen circumstances, PAWS will not be offering vaccinations or microchipping Friday, March 22nd. 

Pet owner must be present with their government-issued, photo I.D. for vaccinations to be administered at PAWS. Click here for more info about vet services & rabies requirements.

Pet Surrender
Animal Intake/Surrender area is by appointment only. Please call the PAWS Pet Resource Desk at 615-907-DOGS to schedule an appointment to bring in an animal(s). The pet surrender area is closed on Sundays and most holidays - animals can not be accepted at the shelter on such days.
