PAWS PET FEST-   Bring the family to PAWS for some fun & to hopefully find your FURR-EVER best friend on Saturday, March 16th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for our spring PAWS PET FEST Adoption Special sponsored by Petco Love.

Visit with several local animal welfare businesses including Petco, Wag it Better, Pet Suites, and Veterinary Emergency Group! We hope you come with an appetite to support your local food vendor, Ken's Hot Dogs, for lunch! Popcorn will be provided by PAWS for all public members who attend as well as a free photo booth opportunity for the entire family. Special thanks to Graced By K Designs for donating the balloon arch!!

Approved applicants who adopt from PAWS receive a courtesy bag of Hill’s Science Diet pet food and an adoption package with special pet offers, pet parenting tips and info. All available animals are already spayed or neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.

PAWS is located at 285 John R. Rice Boulevard in Murfreesboro, TN.

Front Desk, Adoptions, Reclaims & Animal Viewing 

Monday-Friday, 12-1:30 p.m., 2-6 p.m. *Closed 1:30-2 p.m. for staff lunches & pet rest period.*

Saturday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. 


PAWS will be CLOSED Tuesday, March 5th for County Primary Elections.

Rabies Vaccination & Microchip Services 

(By Walk-ins Only)
Tuesday-Thursday 12-1:30 p.m. & 2-4 p.m. & Friday 12-1:30 p.m.

We do not offer vaccines or microchips on weekends. 

Due to unforeseen circumstances, PAWS will NOT be offering vaccine or microchipping services Friday, March 1st. 

Pet owner must be present with their government-issued, photo I.D. for vaccinations to be administered at PAWS. Click here for more info about vet services & rabies requirements.

Pet Surrender
Animal Intake/Surrender area is by appointment only. Please call the PAWS Pet Resource Desk at 615-907-DOGS to schedule an appointment to bring in an animal(s). The pet surrender area is closed on Sundays and most holidays - animals can not be accepted at the shelter on such days.
